I think Oscar would take a decision to be honest. Despite Kostya being a great boxer with huge power at 140, i just take ODLH to look the more classy in there.

    My two cents.

I really liked KT and thought he was a very good at 140, but he just isn't in ODH's class. Oscar would have every advantage you could think of. Size, at least 5-6 inches in reach and 3-4 in height. Speed. Boxing skill. Power. It's just not a fair match up. Oscar would probably knock him out in about 5-6 rounds after KT absorbed a lot of punishment.

It would be a hell of a fight , the fleet of foot KT was a really good fighter but Oscar at that time could pick you off with any punch .

Anyone remember that Left uppercut of the jab he hit Chavez with ?

Whenever i think of Oscar i think of those punches .

It would have been a dream matchup Oscars dream jab and left everything against KTs counter punching .

I think you might have seen a role reversal a bit like Hearns and the Greatest Sugar Ray Lenord .

Id see the fight opening slowly and then Oscar finding his range and slowly stalking KT the way Lenord stalked Hearns , sounds a strange thing to say i know because Oscar is the taller man and Hearns was taller than Lenord .

Oscar at Lightwelter was a heck of a puncher and lightning quick he'd land on KT and make KT reluctant to engage him and even if he did up close DLH was lethal with his combos and KT wasnt as effective .

KT is a fighter that punishes mistakes and pounces on you quick but i'd give Oscar the edge out of instinct .

    Shame it never happened .

What About Quartey and KT at 140?

Think about it , Quarteys pulverising Jab against KT?

Would he land it often would he make to many mistakes for the likes of KT?

    Hmm........?

Hatton fought the perfect fight against kostya. I cant see oscar smothering kostya and staying inside his punches like hatton did. kostya hits 2 or 3 divisions above his weight. My fav kostya fight is when he fought miguel angel gonzalez. just destroyed him. I know oscar fought him too. But i havent seen the fight. could use that as a metre maybe...

I love Ricky Hatton to death but truth is the Kostya Tszyu that got pummled that night had slowed down .

Ricky would have always been a handfull but truth is in his prime Ricky would never have been able to back KT up the way he did that glorius night.

Its beautifull having YOUTUBE ive managed to catch alot of fights of KT i saw years ago when he was so fleet of foot .

Im not trying to scorn Rickys effort in any way because it was a mammoth effort that night but truth is KTjust couldnt do what he used to do as well as he used to do .

Ricky still had to come through some bombs though KT did plant his feet more.
