Using the heavybag has its flaws, for one you really want to be hitting harder so you can fool yourself into thinking you are, also how do you assess it? how far the bag swings? the sound it makes?

The only way (unless your an active fighter who starts knocking people out but previously couldnt) is to get someone else involved and have then assess you over a period of time doing the same drill.

Every one of us is guilty of overpraising our work, without the help of a third party there is always the risk of thinking "Ive been at it a while now, I must be getting better\stronger\faster etc etc"
Well yeah i have gotten my dad to do that and he said that my power has improved a lot and apparently i have one hell of a right rip . My trainer isnt training anymore so i cant get trained anymore
