Even if they have a return , the same thing could happen again. Barrera might do well just to walk away and stick his fingers up to the soprt . 3 of his losses he felt he won . I agree to a large extent. But when I heard that initial score of 118-109 I grimaced. Even though I thought Barrera won the fight, the margins were far closer than that.
I agree with your assessment of Barrera flipping the bird off to the bureaucrats of Nevada. Just a shame that fighters like Barrera and Morales, fighters who have given so much to the sport, have been wronged in such a conspicuous way.
I bring up Erik because he was the consummate slugger who always had a ton of skills but couldn't help to get into heated exchanges. Unfortunately he's taken too much punishment in the ring and I think his career is in it's twilight. But there is always a part of us that hopes and prays they have one more bit of magic in them. We've been spoiled by such great athletes and fierce competitors.
