It is wrong and it is inexcusable. One of my initial thoughts after the fight was that this was the end of boxing for me. To hear those scorecards and those margins when that was clearly what did not happen at all really upset me. I grimaced when I heard the scorecard of 118-109. I didnt even know who that was for but it wasnt for either Marquez or Barrera! The other 2 cards were better but still way out!

I seriously thought "No more boxing for me". I sat for about 5 minutes utterly drained. Im just a fan. Think about Barrera, a guy that has given his life to this sport and entertained so many. I dont blame him for saying he will just make a decision after a vacation with his wife and family. He was treated harshly.

Of course, Ive had time to calm down. I love boxing, I really do. But these kinds of judges are wrong and should be made accountable for their actions. I would dearly love to know how and why they scored that fight as they did! 118-109.....that fight didnt happen for ANY boxing fan watching this fight!!

I know exactly what you're saying, Miles. Both me and my friend and his wife said that we were done with boxing after that disgrace of a decision. I'm shocked to get up this morning and find not one article calling the judges and Nady into question, doing some research on the 'judges' qualifications, and researching their affiliations.
The saying that a picture speaks a thousand words is sometimes misleading. But in this case, and I should openly admit that MAB is my all time favorite fighter, I think a picture captures the bizarre nature of the decision and scoring.
