Definitely Frank Bruno. Probably not the best of them, I just loved the guy growing up. I think as a kid he was everybody's hero. The only fighter I think who was known and loved more for being Frank then he was for being Bruno if you understand what I mean.
He wasn't the best fighter around but everybody, even housewives and grannies loved him and wanted him to win. I don't think there has been a single sportsman let alone a boxer in Britain since Bruno who has won the hearts of the nation so much.
He is the only fighter who I actually used to get palpatations when he faught. Every time he got hit you would scream at the telly, hoping he was going to be all right.
Probably my favourite ever sportsman.
