Duran did dismantle Davey Moore and Barkley but he could not dismantle the great ones like Hearns and Hagler. So those accomplishments are not as great as they seem I think. Duran was great but the great fighters beat him usually, and people will say not at lightweight. Well who did he really fight great at lightweight? Buchanan does not match up to Leonard and Hearns. As for Jones. I think Jones was a great fighter but he did not fight enough great fighters, Jones was as fast as Mayweather and better defensively I think but he never put a claim to greatness. His big wins are Hill,McCallum,Hopkins and Toney. Good wins, But he could have tried to fight Hearns and even though Hearns would have probably lost in 1997 because he was at the end of his career, the name on his record would have helped Jones. I like Roy and think the Roy who beat Toney could have competed against any great fighter, but his confidence I thought was sometimes lower than it should have been.
