Also--I haven't seen it mentioned here, but JMM made a "WTF" face when Michael Buffer started reading the scores (i.e., when the numbers were announced, but prior to saying who won).

I am watching as they annouce the scorecards right now, the ONLY expression made by JMM was a 'winse' like expression he squints both of his eyes in fatigue and pain but by any means I don't know how you determine that expression is a WTF? expression....

Call it whatever you want-- "wince," "WTF expression"; characterize it however you want--"pained," surprised, disappointed, whatever. But the point is that he had a negative reaction--he didn't smile and start clapping or look relieved. I'm not saying he thought he lost the fight; I'm just saying he didn't think he won the fight by 7 points. So far, there seems to be exactly one person (other than that judge) who claims not to be surprised by that score (that would be this newbie/ new sign-on for existing member, "Terp").

Well, I'm calling it what you called it you said it was WTF? expression and I don't see how you come up with that conclusion unless your a 'face expression' expert.... Well the second they announce 'And the new WBC....' he couldn't have clapped cause they were still taking off the right hand glove off his hand..... He did smile and raised his left hand if thats suffcient enough of a celebration for you to determine he thinks he won.....

This is pointless if you're just going to spout off without reading my post. I don't know why you're so angry about this. The point is very simple and non-controversial: when they announced the first, super-wide score, JMM made a negative facial expression, not a positive one. You yourself called it a "wince" (actually, I believe you called it a "winse," but I'm assuming you weren't trying to coin a new word)--though maybe we should discount your analysis there, since I'm assuming you're not a "face expression expert."

The fact that he smiled and raised his hand after they announced he won the fight is neither here nor there. As I explicitly stated in my post (which you apparently didn't read, so I'll quote it for you), "I'm not saying he thought he lost the fight; I'm just saying he didn't think he won the fight by 7 points."

Really, I was just pointing out something I saw and that I thought was interesting. I didn't come in here saying "this proves Barrera won by 10 rounds" or anything crazy. But the fact you're getting so defensive and irate about something so small and seemingly secondary really speaks volumes.

Nah!! I'm the usually the peace keeper here, we are debating a fight here. You made a comment that JMM made an expression WTF? as if even he didn't believe he wont by that large of a margin. I said the expression you pointed out wasn't a WTF? expression..... How does that make me angry?

You made a comment on your post, I responded to it and thats that. After all that is what this forum is for right? Discussion.... I disagreed with something you posted and nothing more....
So that I don't get angrier and run-a-muck here at work I'll drop the subject here....
