Wish i could find some footage of this Russian power house to share with everyone. all my VHS collection got ruined in storage ! 26-1-(19 kos)
The name rings a bell for some reason but I just can't either put a face to it or remember a fight of his but it's rining a bell either I've seen, read or something but the Nazarov part rings a bell....
Oscar was huge on him ! a big fan.
    Didn't he fight Gamache?
For some reason I remember seeing highlights of that fight on TV somewhere, sometime.... Shit! I hate it when this happens I'm thinking when and where......

I can remember Orzubek Nazarov knocking Gamache down 4 times in 2 rounds. The final knock down was every bit as vicious as what Gatti would do to Joey years later . Gamache lay there motionless.

Nazarov 's body shots sounded like a heavyweight delivery. he would rip that body something special ! Cool click Mick !

David Reid was rushed, but I never thought he would be that good a fighter anyway. He looked pretty bad in his couple fights prior to Trinidad.
I think his handlers realized that he was very vulnerable, and therefore they wanted to make sure he got at least one big payday. Better to get beat by Trinidad while making some good money than to get beat by some no-name while making very little.
