I have a hard time understanding where anyone finds Manfredo to have a decent shot in this fight.. What can he do better than Calzaghe? Nothing. He's lost to fringe contenders on that TV show at 154, for gods sake he had trouble with Sergio Mora's pressure.. Manfredo is a good boxer, he works well from the outside, he is fairly accurate, but he does not fight well when someone jumps on him.. I could see that even in his fight with Spina, he was a little buzzed at the end of the first round when Spina managed to get inside and do something. So how the hell is he going to deal with Calzaghe right in his face throwing tons of shots from all angles.. He can't fight on the inside, this is a complete farce of a matchup. Peter will absolutely crumble, and he'd have far exceeded my expectations of him if he lasted past 5 or 6 rounds, let alone if he actually made it competitive. Like someone else said, if Calzaghe so much as looks like he's been in a scrap he's past it... Unless Manfredo really has done something amazing in camp, and improved miles in every department.Originally Posted by "PRIDE OF BOSTON"
