He can bounce up to heavy if he thinks he's not done, but once he feels that heavyweight punch, like he was saying once Hopkins feels that light heavyweight punch, he will crawl under a rock. Or maybe he'll smoke one...
No, because Dawson gets lazy and gets caught and dropped by punches he should never be hit with, for as impressive as he may look Tarver would knock him out. Dawson makes a lot of mistakes. He has great offense but his defense always slips and gets him caught, and someone with Tarver's power would catch and knock him out, and then we have to listen to him all over again
Yeah, but Dawson is a young pup yet and after getting clocked by Adamek en route to a one-sided victory I bet he is even more eager to shore up his defense. I say Dawson pounds Tarver's body a few rounds and then it's irrelevent what punches he gets caught with in the later rounds however few and far between they may be.
Problem is Tarver only needs one shot. I hate his guts but he has a killer left hand and I can't debate that.
