Although I still have deep-seated dislike for their ultimate scores, I would be remissed as a fight fan that I now think the fight could have gone either way. I think the best outcome would have been a draw, or one fighter conceivably losing by a 115-114 in the final tally.
CC to all for passionately advocating their respective cases without resorting to acting childish - Hell, I'm often guilty of falling predator to a nonsensical rant every now then. But it's all done in good fun, although some of us go over the 'line' sometimes...but it's all good folks.
Really good fight and the possibility of a rematch. M.A.B. has been in so many wars and given the boxing community some of the best boxing experiences of our respective lifetimes.
To be honest, I was expecting the M.A.B. that totally schooled and outclassed Rocky Juarez in their rematch. Unfortunately, that M.A.B. didn't have the same game last Saturday. You got to give the man Holyfield status credit, you can knock the man down, but he's sure to conjure the courage and intestinal fortitude to temporarily turn the clocks back for a moment. Sounds odd that I'm commenting on a 33 year-old; cats only got a 1 year on me. But M.A.B. has the Holyfield/Cotoure unwavering spirit of competition.
In the end, win, lose or draw, that's what the most memorable part is all about. Hats off to them all.

Well said Steve-O
We all have our opinions as for the thread dying out I got a feeling this one will be around for a while....
CC Back, Mick. In such a close fight, advocates can argue for many of the rounds as they were so close. Good fight, though. If Barerra retires or a rematch isn't made, I hope that Pacquaio and friends were taking notes - Marquez is anything but a fluke fighter.
