Especially with Joe's brittle hands, dont think he would intentially want to keep hitting anything.
Lacy his so mentally tuff . . Lacy was hurt bad early in the match, and never recovered, he went on auto pilot , that was because of Joe's power and accurate punching . I am not sure Lacy will ever be the same fighter he was before the Calzaghe fight, truth be told. it was one of those bruising fights that takes something out of you, that you never get back .
You may have a point here. But Lacy is recovering from a torn rotator cuff in his last bout. He's still young, and you could look at it in a variety of ways: perhaps it was a great learning experience...although a bit of a brutal learning curve. Time will tell.
The thing that bothers me is he got hurt real bad early in the match.. and was like a sponge soaking up a 12 round beating from that point on. , A good point about that rotator cuff injury he sustained in his last match.. that is about as bad as any injury. for a prize fighter, the inactivity due to the long rehab and all.
a shame all that. Lacy is good people.
