I'd have to disagree with that. It may be true in certain circles, but that's because MMA has just about its entire fanbase in certain circles. Go into a black neighborhood and no one will know Chuck Liddell. Even if they don't know what he looks like, even most women know Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a boxer.
