Judah been out for some time. weak chin. poor stamina. bad habits = disaster vs. Cotto . Miguel should cash him out with little resistance.

Judah will take on that “feet don’t fail me now” approach ., should keep him out of danger for a bit , after 6 Zab will be ready to go.

Actually Wacko if this fight goes into later stages i think it maybe worse for Judah because look at Mayweather fight for example in later stages his workrate dropped and he loses concentration later in the fight

I see Judah rocking Cotto few times but i don't think he has confidence to try and ko Cotto so i see late tko for Cotto.
I think Judah knows this might be his last big fight should he lose and will pull it off as he will bring that little something extra that he really needs to bring if he hopes to get by Miguel Cotto.

Cotto leaves himself open especially when he is throwing punches like when he's exchanging with his opponents and he has been floored because of this in the past. I don't think Cotto is ready for a slick, speedy left-hander who can really bang. Cotto will get hit in this fight, and Zab Judah packs a lot of heat. Judah went 12 rounds with Mayweather and he never seemed to be hurt bad at any point and although he was too tired in the later rounds to catch the lightning quick Floyd Mayweather Jr, he isn't gonna have to chase after the Puerto Rican star. Cotto will most definitely be right there in front of him. I think we will see some real interesting in-fighting in this match-up, and Cotto's famed left hook to the body isn't gonna be nearly as effective as it is against an orthodox opponent. Hopefully for Miguel, his straight right hand to the body is as destructive as the left hook is or Zab will most likely get the better of the exchanges inside as I think his hands are faster.

Zab Judah's biggest downfall is that he sometimes can lack focus. He can take opponents too lightly and can be overconfident. This has cost him in fights like the Baldomir upset. I don't think that's gonna be an issue this time around, though. I think for this fight, because it comes when it does, that Zab will be more motivated to go the extra mile in camp, study his opponent and listen to his coaches, stay confident but not be overconfident... as he should know that it could be, at the very least, the beginning of the end for him if he loses this fight. "Super" Judah has a history of rebounding from losses and coming back strong. He needs to do that now, more than ever if he hopes to end Miguel Cotto's winning streak in June. Have a CC

    Interesting Margarito-Williams Facts:

Both boxers had very short amateur boxing careers.

Margarito was 18-3 in the amateurs before going pro.

Williams only fought between 22-30 amateur fights before he turned pro.

same approach with his fight with tzsyu, mayweather, and spinks. spinks is the only one that got caught with the "punch, dont fail me now!!!"

Boom Boom with your OK, I'd like to add that Margarito has defeated 3 prospects/contenders who have been undefeated at the time they met.
Sergio Gabriel Martinez, Hercules Kyvelos & Kermit Cintron.
Heres hoping he can add Paul to that list.......

Yeah Hercules wasn't much but to his credit Martinez and Cintron were pretty good. In all actuality Clottey should have been undefeated. His only loss was a DQ to Carlos Baldomir in a fight he was easily winning and got DQ'd for leading with his head. But the clashes were really accidental and he got disqualified. Considering that I'd say Clottey is the best of all those 3.

Right, I agree about Kyvelos. But he was still said to have a really good chance at defeating Margarito at the time he fought at 3 of them the talks were that they would give Margarito fits.... He beat them all....

I think Margarito is gonna beat Williams who just aint ready.
Yes,here it is. The perfect example. George, weren't you one of the peeps saying Tony is ducking Paul? And now, even before there is a winner, the "just ain't ready" line is being used. How much longer does Williams need to be ready? He has already had 32 pro fights, how can he possibly still be green? How much will he improve?

This situation already rekindles memories of the Cintron fight.
Actually Jetson, you must have a bad memory I've always said that Williams wasn't ready for Margarito. Remember when I said that I wanted Margarito to beat Cotto? And said that Williams wasn't ready, and you said this.

    And you said this

And whether Williams is ready or not is not an issue. He has 32 fights right? Only 4 less than Tony. Also,he busted up Tony in sparring right? Another reason he's ready. Finally,if Tony does not fight him, what will everyone say? Tony ducking etc etc BS. So Margarito has no choice?!!

    and then I said this.

So you can't use me as example..

unless its an example of you getting proven wrong, in which case I'm happy to take mister Flinstone

That is true. I think this is a pickem fight. Williams really hasnt fought as strong a fighter than Margarito and Margarito has fought stronger guys than Williams. I think Williams is more ready than Cinton was but his defence isnt much better. I got a feeling its not going to be a pretty fight. I like both guys but Margarito is a safer pick. Neither guys are gonna shine against each other though
