Depends who it is. If its Joe Calzaghe then he is obviously a low down yellow coward. If its Bernard Hopkins thats Ok becasue he is being smart.

Cant have it both ways mate.
Bernard Hopkins got a considerably bigger purse to fight DLH then he would have to fight Roy Jones, and he only didn't accept that fight because he wanted 50%.. Which still wouldn't have been as much as the 15 million he got to fight Oscar.. I don't know why nobody ever realizes this.

Trust me,Joe fighting Manfredo wont help him. And what is the point anyway? If this was Kessler I could see the logic as he has many years ahead of him. Joe is about done. I say Joe should take the money while its still being offered.

Hopkins turned down the biggest purse of his career to fight joe IN THE US - but u defended him doing that... dip S***
HAHAHAHAHA. First, when are you talking about? After Hopkins retired? Second, regardless of when you're talking about, this is ridiculous--Joe Calzaghe (a total non-draw "IN THE US") is somehow going to bring B-Hop a bigger purse than ODH did?? This is just foolish.

First off, ODH was not in the picture when he agreed to fight Calzaghe at the time his biggest pay day, but pulled out 24 hours later after upping his pay by 100%, so at the time it was his biggest payday.

I couldnt give a fuck what Hopkins got after or before. He turned down more money than he had ever earned before, right or wrong?

When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Hopkins had the De La hoya fight on the horizon, dumbass. Which was worth a lot more. What's Calzcrappy got that's worth more than Kessler? Manfredo? Bika rematch? Third fight with Veit? He doesn't have anything and you fuck it know it.

Calzaghe v Manfredo will pull 40,000 to the Millenium Stadium plus a massive world - wide TV audience , due to Manfredo`s international profile through The Contender .
Calzaghe will see it as a safe defence while Manfredo will see it as an opportunity , as an improving fighter , to pull off a shock against a complacent opponent who might be passing his best days .
    What`s the problem here ?

    Welcome to the forum Grendal
It's pure business this fight (winnable against someone who is known worldwide-like you said)
Some of our US friends/JC haters think Manfredo isn't known globally even though the Contender was a huge worldwide hit with massive viewing figures
Basically Manfredo is better known than Kessler worldwide by the average man so there is method in the madness
