This is all coming from the tragic death that just occured this past Friday when Lito Sisnorio took a beating from former Champ. Chatchai Sasakul.
GAB chairman states that untill he is ensured the safety of his fighters then ban will remain indefinitely.....

This is crazy! man I mean certain procedures and regulations have to be taken here and they werent..... Someone skiped a few steps and disreguarded the regualtions, Someone knew this wasn't right and they closed their eyes and let this one go by....

IMO that Someone has to serve some time.

This is what the fight reads on BoxRec:
"Catchweight of 116 lbs. Sisnorio died from injuries sustained in this fight. Sisnorio is 11-5-1 following this fight. This fight has no approval from Philippine boxing commission, Games and Amusement Board (GAB), and considered as illegal."

Thoughts on this, banning of ALL Filipino fighters from Thailand.....
GAB realy wants to stop Filipino boxers who fights in thailand who have really no chance of winning pitted against much skilled thai opponent and serves just to pad their record. thailand is well-known for making mismatch fights. imo, because of this mismatches, tragedy like that of Sisnorio is just waiting to happen.

my thought is until thailand's boxing authorities will continue to patronize making these mismatch bouts, GAB really has the right to impose ban for the safety of the filipino boxers.
Well said,
Someone needs to be prosecuted for this IMO......

You know I never really thought about this match making that goes on up untill now. I was going throught the records of fights being held in Thailand and for the most part they really are mismatches.... I have to say I was a bit ignorant towards this happening and it's not that I didn't know it was happening I just never really gave it much thought....
yes, same thing here. am not aware of mismatches done in thailand and filipino boxers serves as "whipping boys" until i read a post in another boxing website by an american boxing news editor based in bangkok. now he is pushing for reforms in current thailand boxing scene.
