Wetherspoons is alright just over the road from Gate 2 (I think) into the stadium. Check out the City Arms for a decent pub and plenty of Welsh people, and I also like Callaghans on the bridge between the Cardiff RFC stadium and the road.
Cheers...I used to live in Cardiff and made it a point of pride to be a regular at anywhere worth drinking in. If you do want to look further afield and venture out to other parts of town, you'd do well to check out 'The Crwys' in Cathays and most of the pubs in Cardiff Bay too. You won't get out till pretty late, maybe 1am, so maybe check out the City Arms for a few right by the stadium...'Clwb Ifor Bach' is down the alley to the left of City Arms, and is usually open till 3 or 4ish, but is a Welsh music club. Barfly is very indie, but i don't know much about the clubs that play dance music...it ain't my arms race.
