I have a friend who is the same way.
My situation is not like yours. You seem to have deep feelings for her. I do not have any feelings for my friend. (not I love you feelings) Friend feelings yes. She has had a crush on me since we were in the 4th grade. I never knew this until later in life. She confessed. She digs me and I dig her. I only consider her a friend and a lover. Nothing more. I can be dating and she can be dating and we can both have a go at each other. Don't ask me how this works. (alcohol might be the culprit) She does not get all mushy, mushy with me nor do I get all mushy, mushy with her. I can tell that her seeing me with someone else affects her more than when I see her with someone else but no drama. I truly have no love/romatic feelings for her and she is a player too. I guess this also helps me.
FEELINGS bro feelings. I say don't give into your feelings and just have her as a friend and a lover if you can. Don't spoil the friendship, just enjoy each others company. Don't go looking for love where there is none. Today people date more than just one person. Do you really want a commitment? Do you really want to be tied down? This all brings drama. I suggest you talk to her. I don't know what you should say to her but I guess you are going to have to figure this one out yourself. You know yourself and her better than we do.
Good luck and be a player.
Romantic love relationships suck when one person has their heart in it and the other does not
True love is hard to find.
