I dont think so... He still would have fought George somewere down the line...... To me George is perfect were he is now... He did something no one has done, and thats go back and rewrite history of sorts... He was able to comeback and reinvent himself and his image and win the heavyweight title in his 40's... He pushed fighters were signifigantly younger and in there prime to the brink... George made me real proud

Ali probably still would have found a way to force the fight,who knows what would have happened if he'd had to fight Norton,or Shavers,or if he'd kept fighting,a Larry Holmes in his prime.hell maybe Spinks has his one perfect night against Foreman instead of Ali
