A fighter like Enzo Maccranelli should've been headlining his own card 2 or 3 fights ago yet he's guaranteed to be propping up a Calzaghe card unless Joe pulls out injured! Warren in turn can put more spin on a 'Welsh boxing show' to make the fans travel up from Swansea and perhaps further afield thus making his fighters look more popular with a sell out crowd. Amir Khan appears on every ITV boxing show and adds support to the line up and boxing supporters aswell as the casual fan will tune in to see his progress.

All it boils down to is that Warren has a date pencilled in for July that ties in with all his other 'big name' fighters. It's a cheap and easy way of making more money and claiming the big fighters wont fight his men when they refuse to fight on a date he is dictating!
enzo is only 26 - Yes he could be headlining his own fights and getting a lil more money, but WHY when he can be the main undercard for Joe, get on HBO NOW!

Kessler is probably free, but since when does a big fight come off within 3 months these days?

Why not simply agree a date in September? A mutually agreed frame of time with plenty of time to get organised on both sides?
