God is a mental creation summoned up in the minds of weak minded people who feel the need to pray to a fictional higher being in the hope they are not alone in the choices they make in life.

GOD exists only in the imagination of people unable to take responsibility for their actions. So in answer to you questions YES there is a god in the same way there are dreams. IS he real? Nope, but the minions who pray to this figment of imagination are very much real.
