Hmm, well, I meant to be saying something similar; Floyd's going to run, his speed is going to allow him to stay outside, and Oscar will have to make the effort to get to Floyd ... but if Floyd can trick him into running laps all night, then Oscar will run out of gas.

He needs to cut the ring intelligently and conserve his energy. But maybe you're right ... Oscar has a good jab and a reach, and Floyd has to engage even for his poke and prance style. If Floyd's going to point he has to approach. Oscar's not as quick as Floyd but he's no slouch in the speed department.

And if Oscar puts some hurt on Floyd early as you suggest, might alter Floyd's flight plan ... er, fight plan.
