I think this whole Jones has glass chin has gone bit out of control he was koed by two picture perfect shots just like Lewis was and Lewis hasn't got glass chin he took bombs off Mason Tua and ect.
Lewis got up both times. look @ the johnson ko jones doesnt get up
Your missing the point here... 2 perfect shots he took big friggin deal, at least Jones did something with his career, Calzaghe is the ultimate king and champion of Mediocrity.. Jones is bigger, faster, stronger than Calzaghe and has 10x the heart  Jones would whip his azz from pillar to post
JT man...I swear you come on here to try and wind me up.  Did you see Jones' last fight.  Indeed it was his only victory in the past four years, and against a guy he should really be blowing out of there, but he was the one blowing at the end.  And I don't know that much about American boxing, but if you're of the status of RJJ, and fighting in Boise, Idaho....wtf does that say about the stage of your career?  Jones is just talking the talk so his profile is still up there for his next fight against some bum in Nowheresville, Nebraska.
Rhun I know you are a defender of all that is Calzaghe but I mean you are Clowning on Jones is career and the way he talks but you need to wisen up and look around you

Because Peter Manfredo and Sakio Bika are really world beaters in relation to Badi Ajamu
and then the Ultimate shite talker calling out anyone and everyone but at the end fights no one worth the paper I just wiped my a*** with... Yep you guessed it Joe Calzaghe

He was Blowing at the end yea he pitched a shutout in that fight...

Jones was virtuoso and took chances and fought people and did something with his career...

I will sum up the last few years of Joe's Career... He always fought tune up fights while waiting for major showdowns that turned into more tuneups.... If you want to be force fed that garbage than more power to you but the proof is in the pudding and the facts are the facts... Joe Career up to this point is mediocre at best..

He might retire undefeated like Sven Ottke but will be quickly forgotten as well, with people knowing the substance of what his legacy was built upon... MEDIOCRITY!!!!!

Jones was never an undisputed champ. he never boxed michelchezki and inherited two titles that mighazelki gave up. he also bottled out of boxing in germany. Calzaghe boxed and beat an undefeated challenger in germany. Jones beat john ruiz. wow ruiz must be the Crappest heavyweight champion ever. Jones has boxed more handpicked challengers than any champion in F****** history.
    Yep your right

    Toney
    Hopkins
    Tarver
    Johnson
    Clinton Woods
    Virgil Hill
    Mike McCallum

Joe fought 1 good fighter in his life and a ready to be taken Eubank, all those guys I just referenced would be a huge step forward for the sham of a career Calzaghe has had... Sad to see you still falling for him and Warrens song and dance and excuses

WOW king of the 168 division too funny isint that division kinda like Cruiserweight its a stop before you get to Heavyweight, just like Supermiddle is a stop on the way to Lightheavy or a settle down to Middleweight
people are just jealous of Calzaghe. calzaghe was avoided by Jones and Sven Ottke wanted no part of him. And mccullum was a fat middleweight when Jones beat him. Go on Roy what a win against a old has been. That fight reminds me of Holmes Ali.
You find every excuse to take away big win from Jones which is very unfair because Calzaghe's resume isn't even close to Jones.

#60 Yep the facts are the fact, Calzaghe fighting a 38 year old Jones would be the toughest test of his career up to now.. So remember that while your clowning on and shitting all over Roy Jones jr and his supposed weak chin

in something like jones third fight he boxed and beat a really good fighter. after that he disapeared into the hinterlands boxing no bodies for years. if jones had signed with say maybe bob arum @ the start of his careeer he could have been an amazing fighter with a massive fanbase. A lot of jones fights have been dull and hes never been able to pull crowds like a delahoya or a duran, tyson, leaonard etc

If this is an argument to legitametly say that Joe Cal's resume is in the same Galaxy as Jones, then your being a bit shortsighted.

i agree with ya once again mr JT rock. calzaghe could never really build up an awesome recod by staying in the UK. simply becuse the majority of top guys tend to come out of the states and JC has never really up to now been willing to go over there and chase the big boys. instead he would rather stay in wales and then say that so and so has avoided him for years just because they wern't willing to fight in the land of he taffs. and for the most part in his career JC was never really in a position to demand for fighters to come to him. but i reckon he is defo top dog at 168 now and has the right to let fighters come to him.

NO COMMENT. That had to be the funniest damn thing I ever read on this forum... Now your questioning Jones popularity your grasping at straws !!!

Please Seanie tell me the kind of crowds Duran and Leonard were pulling

Jones is 10x better than Calzaghe has fought 10x better quality of opponent and even at this stage he is better than Calzaghe don't know if he could make supermiddle though probably lightheavy or catchweight

Nobody is trying to say that Calzaghe's record is better than RJJ, but the point is that Calzaghe's recent record in the past three years is better than RJJ. His confidence has taking an absolute beating with those losses to Johnson and Tarver, and beating Ajamu over 12 is not going to restore that. And beating Ajamu is nowhere near fighting someone of the league of Calzaghe. Let's just see these two guys in the ring so we can settle this debate (and I can gloat )
