I take it you missed out on the slugfest between Briggs & Lyakhovich.

    Thats was painful.

No shit, horrible fight. I've seen some stinkers and that one definitly sticks in my mind.

The boxing fan in me kept it together and how I managed to sit through that shit! is beyond me.
yeah that sucked bad and to think i had tickets to that and i was there watching it live, awww man that really sucks (luckily i didn't pay for the tickets, they were free)
Ouch! I hope you were drinking a beer or something.

Yep, this fight is the most boring fight I've ever seen, and whichever one is #2 isn't even close.
These guys literally stared at each other for the entire first 11 rounds.

Holyfield-Ruiz III is like the Thrilla in Manila compared to Briggs-Liakhovich.
No sh*t! SweetPea this is BY FAR the worst I have ever seen in my life.

Not if you saw the 1st 11 rds. with 2:45 seconds you had NO clue that the end result would be like so.

That was, hands-down, the most boring, putrid, and ridiculous excuse for a title fight I have ever seen. It was easily the most boring fight I have EVER witnessed, title or not. I had a friend come over during the fight, so I switched it off out of sheer boredom, and after bitching about how bad and boring it was, I turned it back on to show him... right when Briggs KO'd Lyakhovich by knocking him out of the ring... made me look like a fool. That fight made the 2nd half of Hatton-Urango look like Hagler-Hearns, neither of them should've gotten paid after that BS and whoever won should've been immediately stripped of the title
God, even thinking of it makes me want to gouge out my eyes... I cannot, in good conscience cheer on either one of those lazy bastards in any of their future fights.

Glad to read I wasn't the ONLY fool who went through that torture. I like you hurt in pain when I think about that day. It gives me a headache to think I went through that sh*t....

Well keeping it real he had 12 KO's over 8 decisions.
And some of those early KO's were nice, the thing with B-Hop is that people forget he had serious KO power back in the day as he got older he slowly became the throwback boxer we've come to know and people forget the old B-Hop with KO's.

I remember Joppy had a badly swollen cheek.
But Allen was the eliminator/tune up fight he had but I don't remember his cheek being puffy.

Jones/Tarver 1 & 3 were horrible fights. I would not even call them fights.

danny g u my bro and all i agree the 3rd was a let down but how can u hate on rjj vs tarver 1??

i was there sitting ringside behind motor city cobra and could not believe my eyes for the first time rjj was in serious trouble and what did he do? he dug deep inside as a true champ does and came out strong to finish the win! very inspiring to this day!
