To a large degree your going to have to trust your own body.but no,while its still healing,just rest it,or youll end up like me with chronic spraining.
And even when you do go back to running or sparring,tape it.And deal with the loss of leg hair,and tape it high
How Ive ended up with chronic ankle problems,was just like the other night.Rushed myself back in to action,and didnt bother to tape it.
