Thanls skel you beat me to it, I hate it when people make references to stuff they have no clue about. Europe is a continent and as such has a larger population than the united states, and also the united states is not the second most popolous country in the world, but 3rd, and the first and second are china and india with over a billion people each!

i agree with both of you.Originally Posted by althetruthhindley

boxing is the ultimate competition sport but most undefeated fighters now a days our cancers to the sport. we have too many of them proving we are lacking great match making.
hopefully more fans realize if a fighter is undefeated it doesn't mean his god.

Joe Calzaghe threatened to fight Glenn Johnson a couple times then he gets the fight then pulls out with a bad back then he was going to fight the winner of Johnson vs Woods and did'nt to better his record he could of fought better opposition other than the ones i listed at the begining he could of fought supermiddles such as.
Robin Reid in a rematch
Markus Beyer
Sven Ottke
Sugar Boy Malinga
Thomas Tate
Eric Lucas
Syd Vanderpool
Antwun Echols
Mads Larsen
Frankie Liles
Otis Grant
Bruno Girard
Hacine Cherifi
i know he tried to make some of these fights but for whatever reason they did'nt come off we only have Frank Warrens word that they tried to make them and that it were'nt there fault they did'nt come off

That just proves the point - no star names... or "major leauge fighters" as you put it.Originally Posted by tysonbruno
And you know those guys would of been on your "good" list accompanied by "knock" remark
Beyer - KO'd by Catley
Ottke - Got lucky decision's in Germany
Malinga - Ancient, already beaten by Eubank, Jones, Benn etc
etc
etc

But these would have been better fights and they were better fighters than the ones on my bad list at the begining of the topic and they would have done Calzaghes record the power of good
Array
For sure
But you can do that with anyones record.

the reason i did this list of better opposition he could of fought at supermiddle is because Big H and Preme asked me to

Do you think any of those guys would of beat Calzaghe?
