Roy could beat calzaghe but not jermain taylor

Depends which Taylor shows up. If Taylor tries to box I'm not sure if Taylor is good enough yet.

I think Roy still has the physical tools to beat anyone at 175 or 168 on any given day. IMO he's shot mentally.

I think roy should try to fight taylor I think hes got a shot he still has fantastic speed its his legs that are gone..., his chin well that may have never been good at all in his prime he never got hit, your chin is the last to go so I have to say roy didnt have a spectacular one, taylor in all likley hood would out box jones along with wi nky wright

Roy used to have a good chin... He got hit cleanly a few times in his career to no effect. Even Hopkins hit him cleanly and same with Toney who hit him with some nice counters and they did nothing.

i think JC would beat calzaghe to a UD. neither of em are big bangers but i think roy jones is too past his best. dont think he's got it in him anymore.

I think roy is mentally weak now a days, and thats his biggest problem.

but I too think he still can beat calzagne, roy has it in him but he has to regain himself mentally.

I don't think roy can beat j.t though, i think j.t can knock roy out cold but i doubt calzagne can.

styles make fights, calzaghe is going to knock roy jones out, in order to be an old roy jones you have to rough him up and hit him, and calzaghe isnt that type of fighter, roy jones can UD calzaghe even now though..roy can also beat taylor being that taylor is a big middleweight
