Oh yeah and the gun laws in America are F****** stupid. I dont give a S*** about wether its sacred to the american constitution or not, all I know is if this guy had no access to a gun and went on a knife rampage he'd have killed nowhere near as many people as he ended up doing. One of the lads I live with at uni is from detroit, and I was asking him what it was like compared to salford, a notoriously shitty and poor part of Manchester. He said it was very similar economically and socially, working class and post-industrial, but because there are guns so readily available in the US compared to over here its 10 times more dangerous out on the streets. The fact there are more murders in a WEEK in Detroit than there are over the course of a whole YEAR in Manchester, two cities of comparable size and economic position, says enough.
its not the guns thats the problem, its the crack the people smoke before they use the guns.
