Is Lacy really suffering such a dearth of support in the States? I'm not so sure that he deserves that as he is still pretty well ranked among the organisations for world title challenges, and even though he scraped through against Tsypko (that was tight enough to go either way IMO, and I don't think that was a robbery.) he will still get a world shot this year if he doesn't blow it by losing again.

Audley has never been ranked top 5 by any of the recognised organisations, and as a Lacy fan, you're much more likely to see your boy battling for world honours again, than the Audley fan (if you can find him).

Unfortunately the say his injury might be career threatining and we wont see him in a ring anytime soon.. Against Calzaghe and Tyspko he showed courage and heart way beyond the call of duty

See, that's what I think too....he might not be as quick and slick as Calzaghe, but he showed bundles of guts in going 12 with Calzaghe, and considering the injury did well v Tsypko too. I tried to CC you but karma bit me on the arse and said i can't.

Lacy's fanbase abandoned him because he didn't beat Joe. They were fairweathers, the most of them. Audley's abandoned him because he abandoned them by not putting any sort of heart into his ring effort. Really discusting his outing against Guinn. That's something you'll never see with Jeff.

Good post i never really liked Audley but top man for not following everyone else i like that but i don't think we will see him in major fight again unless he gets rematch with Sprott.

#762 Dont really see the need to kick him while he is already down... Maybe Sprott will give him the chance, besides you can never rule a Heavyweight out in this era since its such a poor time... But I would love to see him dust himself off and rise up with redemption... It would be a good story at least

I don't see Sprott doing that. The beating I watched him take on youtube from Audley before that big blow. I think Audley would beat him in a rematch. And Sprott knows that too, which is why there will be no rematch

Beating? Ok Audley was landing clean for a round and a half. Then Sprott picked up and then he was the one beating Audle. The KO came later in the round, a round Sprott was easily winning. Audley had just picked up a tiny bit of steam before the KO when he left himself open and got KO'd. Audley would win in a rematch imo, probably but it's irrelevant. Sprott doesn't owe Audley any rematch, he KO'd him in the third round.

Agreed with amat i don't know what your on about Majesty mate Audley had good first round then Sprott was finding the range in 2nd and was very close round then in 3rd Sprott was winning easily and hurt Audley with body shots hardly a beating.
