Anyone know much about computers?? Help needed!!!

I dont no much about computers but it really pisses me off when i use youtube or want to watch a movie on my PC, what happens the picture will start but it keeps pausing like every 20 seconds then starting up again like stuttering with interuptions which are like for a minute every 20/30 seconds, does anyone have any idea why this is?? Any help would be great.

I think your turbo charged flux capacitor is running slow you need to find the full duplex connection it should have the go faster stripes these are normally blue wires.

Sometimes it's caused by too many people looking at the same movie etc at the same time.
Either that or your BB connection is crap OR your PC is rammed full of sh*t.
Do you watch a lot of fights etc through it?

Is it a recent problem? Or something that's been happening ever since you got your computer?
How old is it?
How much memory do you have? Running too many or conflicting background processes?
Graphics card?
Are your fans working properly? Sometimes programs start performing oddly due to overheating.
If your computer is old and you've never done so, make sure to open the thing up and clean the dust out once in a while.
Everything about your computer could be functioning perfectly, but if it accumulates too much dust the computer can't properly cool and you'll encounter all sorts of errors like random resets, programs shutting down for unknown reasons etc. Overheating is the cause of so many probs.

If you dont have a tag or label on the front of your PC telling you its spec, right click the my computer icon and select properties from the popup menu, under the general tab you will see your computer information (ram processor operating system) posting this info would be handy.

Streaming video can be a little stop start but if your struggling to play videos located on your hard drive or play DVD's then your hardware probably isnt up to it.

why not pause the video and wait till the whole vid loads up, or atleast part of it?
Then you can see it with no interruptions because the vid is fully loaded

Thanks for your comments guys, i was asking as i watched Alpha Dog last nite on the net, but im getting my I.T mate round as the pc is less than a month old and not that cheap. Thanks again.

Par for the course that mate, you will get that stop start with streaming films. If you can cue them up in advance and watch them later. If its multi part have the second on pause whilst you watch the first and so on and so forth.

If all else fails hit it with a lump hammer, solves untold problems.

you probably do not have the proper driver installed for your video card.

How often do you feed the mouse inside of the computer? instead of water try GATORADE is a good upgrade for you computer's RAT RAM

Ask your computer to 'Open the Pod Bay Doors', and if it does not, you know you've got a problem.

You'll then have to go into the big room where all the memory is and pull all the memory out - if the computer starts singing "Daisy, Daisy", you are looking at a total rebuild.
