I'm sure he was pretty careful, waited until times when he knew nobody was around. In some of the footage you can see he recorded walking down a hallway in first person. The block pattern on the walls looks similar to the pattern in this pic:


Pretty risky thing to do! Standing in a hallway at Uni, waving guns around and getting your picture taken. I'm sure if somebody saw it, they would say something.
