Very thankful that this year is turning out to be a really fun year for me. I've already done the whole concert thing and it's cool and all but to me theres nothing like beeing ringside at a boxing event....

Yeah boy, I been taking notice of Katsidis since he beat Swan in only his second pro fight to win the Aussie LW title. But I really started following him after his stoppage of Kinuthia who had just fought 12 rds with L. Ndou.

Kid looks really good in the ring but I will say he needs to control himself a bit more I like his aggressive styel but if he can add control to it, then it would be even more effective IMO.

Have to return the favor in 24 as already click ya, but your right he needs to control himself, that's why he got caught against Earl. Up to that point he was dominating!!!

All my dreams now are becoming a reality.” With a little under a week in the United States, Katsidis has already been shaking things up at the Wildcard gym in Los Angeles, and is excited about the improvements in his game in recent months.
“I was here three months ago preparing, so it’s not new to me,” commented Katsidis, “I got the perfect preparation: I’m use to where I’m training. The main thing is that I’ve got my first fight here and I am so excited I’ve got this opportunity.”

Guzman, who has already won a 122-pound WBO title (winning it in 2002 against Fabio Oliva) and the WBO 130-pound championship (winning it in 2006 against Jorge Barrios), is clearly the more experienced opponent, and one who feels eager to add another WBO title to his already impressive resume. Many insiders felt that he would have also captured the 126-pound title had he been given the opportunity to fight for it. But Guzman is looking ahead now to May 26th.
“I am very happy that HBO has their eye on me,” commented Guzman.

I don't understand this match-up for either man. At least it's nailed on to be a great fight.

Skill-wise Guzman is in a different stratosphere, not sure he'll be able to keep Katsidis off though

It's only a few weeks after Mayweather v ODLH, so Sky should really be looking to capitalise on the extra press that that fight will bring to it's boxing coverage. Even from these pics Katsidis looks to be much the bigger man in my book, and was he and John Duddy seperated at birth?

I really like boxing, and I don't mind watching old-time fights and classics that I remember or have been recommended, but I can never seem to bring myself to watch a fight that I know the result of a few days later. It wasn't so bad when they showed the fights on delay Sunday morning (I much prefer to see them live), being just a few hours behind you can obvioulsy swerve the result.

The week delay is bollocks. I still watch them though, especially if i want to record them.
