But I really do, Rafa doesn't get hit cleanly half as much as people think he does. Before the Vazquez bout, the only time I saw him in any real trouble was I think the third or second round against Tim Austin. And he's been in with some clean punchers like Too Sharp, Vargas and Mabuza. The first Mabuza go round was exciting at the time, but watching it again, Mabuza never really landed clean.

Honestly, haven't seen to much of Pre-Pacquiao JMM, but even if it was a shaky decision, John landed with regularity. So did Barrera. Of course those are two top notch boxers, especially Barrera but no one has landed with absolute regularity on Rafa.

Maybe JMM has a better defense, but Rafa's is underrated severely.
The reason that I asked so shockingly is due to the fact that I have seen Juan slip a lot of shit that has knocked Rafael out. The fact that Juan has never been stopped also clicks with me, the most.

You couple that with the two of the three knockouts that I have seen Rafael suffer from…you see where I am coming from?

See…I was shocked as shit when Rafael got sparked out by Garcia (whom I do not rate at all) but I was even more shocked when I saw him struggle with some of the other fellars that he was pitted against.

Not that Juan hasn’t had troubles. He has…& I have been just as shocked with some of his…trials & tribs…but seeing him dropped & then getting up & mustering a stoppage when he aint really a show stopper like Rafael is what impresses me the most.

That, & again, the fact that Juan has never been stopped…I say that he’s the slicker man with the better defense.

Again…not to sound like I’m thumbing my nose…but you need to see more of his matches.

But I do see what you like about Raf…so I can lean in either direction. The Marquez bros have the goods…no doubt.
