Regardless of the fight he fought cro cop is a pride fighter he is NOT ufc material. He is to cockie and last night he got cocked. One sided fighting is not going to get you anywere in the ufc. It might get you passed some has beens or chumps but not the caliber of fighters in the ufc. Yeah, you can say that again. Funny thing is I studied him a bit more tonight. One of the ringside commentators, I think it was Joe Rogan, commented about the lack of size of Cro-Cop's head, which I thought was ridiculous. However, his neck isn't too thick. But even with a neck like David Tua, I don't think many would have been able to take a leg kick to the temple from a 240+lb. fighter.
And no, Cro Cop isn't Chuck the striker with the good hands. But Chuck's going to his a** beat-down by Quentin. I can't wait to see it.

If Quentin was the same fighter I would agree with you that Chuck would get beat down But he isn't. I knew he wasnt the same after that Rua fight.. I wish Jackson as the same fighter, if he was then I would say he beats Chuck again. But, he isnt the same fighter that beat Chuck, and neither was Horn.

Dude, you need to stop with the hating of Chuck on this board, it's annoying as all hell Randy Couture was the same fighter in the 2nd fight who dominated Chuck in the 1st, and he got KTFO. What sets Liddell apart from any other fighter in MMA history is his ability to KO both people who he seemingly has no chance against, AND knocking out people who beat him. i don't think chuck can beat rampage, chuck is a fist striker.

rampage is vulnerable against knees and kick strikes, like silva did to him twice.

i think rampage is going to smash chuck once again.

if chuck wants to win his going to need to knee rampage to the face and kicks to the body. hand strikes isn't going to be enough against rampage.

That was shocking, not just that he got KTFO or especially how it happened but also that Gonzaga was in control of the fight the whole time. The takedown was nice, especially since that was a hard body kick he caught.

On another note, WTF was Assuerio Silva doing? I haven't seen him fight before but why did he just lay on Congo. I know taking Congo down was the right thing since he's good standing up but bad on the ground, but Silva just took him down and layed on him, didn't do anything. After a few times I was just praying that Congo could block the takedowns, I'm starting to get into MMA but that was boring as all hell.

Take your own advice. I never said Randy wasn't the same fighter. I said Horn and Jackson. And you're not making a realistic argumentive offering. You're taking my opinion and saying I'm using it as an excuse for Jackson to lose without proving either way. And then you assume that race has something to do with it and then you back up your claims with an insult.

You're a very good poster on this site, and you don't need to insult me to get your point across.

It's not just MY opinion that Jackson isn't the same fighter, many MMA Fans will tell you that Quintin isn't the same fighter he once was. I'm an avid watcher of Pride and I watched as Shogun Rua completely destroyed Jackson and it was clear to me at that point that Quintin wasn't the same fighter.

thats the best part about mma, upset happen often so you can never be too sure. and they happen via knock outs not a boring decision. thats what excitement is all about, upsets and k.o's.

too bad boxing don't have much of that, if an upset does happen its via boring u.d...unlike mma you put two guys inside an octagon and all hell brakes out anything can happen. maybe thats what boxing is lacking upsets and more k.o's shocking upsets and shocking k.o's.

but nowadays in boxing we put two guys in together and most likely we all already know whos going to win.......and the worst part in boxing is we barely get two top fighter fighting eachother. thank god for the featherweight division though, them legends duck it out like mad mans.

another thing that sucks about boxing is we have too many undefeated fighters, that just proves lack of great match makings.
