I;m not sure if Margarito is even a top 5 guy in the Welterwieght division. I believe that PBF, Mosely, Cotto, Judah, and Castillo all beat Margarito.

Duuuuuuude,talking about his 4 losses is ridiculous. He was 16,17,had a limited amateur career and was 12-3. His other loss was at 154,no relevance,Tony and Floyd would rumble at 147. And that 154 loss was a close one,most had Tony up by 1 point,he had a knockdown not called,it was in Santos backyard and Santos HAD to win the fight for his career's sake,hence standing and trading more.

Dude,read the thread.Margarito is similar in many ways to JLC,who "beat" PBF in the first fight. And to say Santos flat out won shows me you have either not watched the fight or not watched it properly.

Margarito has flaws as does every fighter.

and Margarito busted up Baldo in sparring,Baldo said Margaro was very powerful and that he would not fight him(I posted the article here ages ago)

Zab turned down chance after chance to fight Tony.Best example was in an interview he said he would fight the winner of Cintron Tony.

Tony would ANNIHILATE Corrales,and is just too big for JLC.

And don't be silly with Gatti. Heck there are guys here like P4PkIng,who hate Tony but they admit Tony would destroy most of the guys you mentioned.

And my boxing has nothing to do with it.So what if you've boxed.I doubt you or many others have faced an almost 6 foot WW,who throws almost 100 power punches a round,has a great chin and endless stamina.

Margarito's no bum like Brusseles,no shot Gatti or Sharmba and no weight drained Corrales,no unfocussed coming off loss after loss Judah.Tony would work the body,something which no other fighter has done,he would put pressure on Floyd like no other and would use his size and stamina.He would take Floyd's best and catch him somewhere along the fight.

Everyone says JLC is slow but he managed to pressure Floyd and in most's eyes,win the first fight.Tony brings much more heat,much more pressure.I could go on all day and although I admit Floyd would be a big favourite,I just think Tony would bring more of a challenge than anyone Floyd has fought in a long log time although kudos to him for fighting Oscar(a fight he should win easily).

I get what you are saying now BUT...you mentioned Margo's stamina...Floyds is the BEST on the planet.So fighting at a high pace is no problem.Throwing continuous body blows would just show case Floyds defense.They cant hurt him if he continues to roll and parry.You cant put pressure on floyd because he just slips(like in the baldo fight...even though people said he was running).Baldo tried to work the body and put pressure on him and he ran out of gas.Floyd has never taken a lot of punches.Its nearly impossible to out point Floyd especially in the judges eyes.He is 121-6 in his lifetime...he always finds a way to win.

I agree with you that PBF would out box Margarito, but PBF never came close to fighting any of the others you mentioned that Margarito should fight...

I mentioned them because none of them have impressive resumes...they get hyped up so much...which is why they need to battle it out amongst themselves.
