Man Gatti is a lil punk and is scared to fight a good fighter. I was with Paul Spadafora yesterday and he was supposed to fight Gatti. We where watching Wed. Night Fights and the breaking news came over that Gatti will choose to fight the "contender" Alfonso Gomez. Thats fuckin bullshit. He is a lil punk and dont wanna fight a real fight for his comeback fight cause he dont wanna lose. All i know is i watched Paul train yesterday and the zone and mental focus that he had. I personally dont think anyone could beat him "as of right now"....
Everytime this kid gets to fight someone good they dont take the fight...mayweather/gatti (Twice)/dorin

what the hell how is someone supposed to prove thereself!

When you say he was suppose to fight Gatti you mean an offer was made and both promoters talked OR Spadafora said "I'll fight him" and then it turns out Gatti was fighting Gomez?

no paul promoter Mike Acri set it up and all gatti had to do was sign the paper and he had like 3-4 offers and took that one instead...SCARED!!!!

Who's speaking against him couldn't he say what he feels about Gatti personally And what would Paul get from fighting Gatti wouldn't they just say Gatti was a shot fighter? The dude just got knocked out by Baldomir. Wouldn't Spadafora get little to no credit fighting him

Why doesn't Spadafora fight someone challenging like Collazo? That would be a better fight for his status.

But I see what your saying....
For the most part Paul gets thrown around more for the stuff hes done outside the ring. It's unfortunate for him that those things have come to over shadow his skills in the ring. But getting ALL pissed off about it ain't gonna sh*t! but add fuel to the fire.
What he needs to do is pack it up and move on and look for another credible opponent theres plenty of them out there. Gattis not the only one and TBH beating Gatti would not mean much IMO if the feather fisted Baldomir stopped him chances are Paul would too.

Well if your Gatti and you still have a contract to fulfill with HBO would you choose a fight thats a bigger risk or lower risk as your comeback fight?
I don't blame! Gatti for not taking the fight (IF this is true) hes been in 1 too many wars and has fought some of the biggest names out there. IMO he should have retired already but as I said he has a contranct to fill with HBO and not meeting it would only mean he has to cough up some ca$h to HBO.
If anyone in boxing right now deserves a gimmie fight, it's def. Gatti.

And spadafora is a good fighter..Lost a bit of his career yes..But is still young, Undefeated..
And what spadafora needs is to get back in the limelight by beating some big names and become recognised again..

If spadafora fights gatti..Then what does he gain from beating a fighter who is past his best..Very little..

He actually DIDN'T win the WBA as the fight was a draw thus Dorin retained his belt.
Spadafora is the former IBF & IBC champ.
