I agree, if Mayweather quits after this fight, even if he wins there are still fights out there for him and opponents he hasn't faced, and while there's no doubt he'll go hall of fame I would suggest he might not get considered right up there amongst the all time greats if he doesn't put a few more huge names on that undoubtedly impressive resume of his.
Agreed there brother. He needs to fight more of the fighters at 147,clean out the best division in boxing. He's made the $$$ but he won't be an all time great in my eyes just by beating the guys he has thus far. He'll be in the Hall of Fame.
I kinda go back & forth on that tidbit of info.

What I want to know is this...let's throw out two big what if's to factor in.

What if: Judah rips Cotto apart? Then who is there left that is worth Floyd facing?
What if: Castillo rips Hatton apart? Then who is there left that is worth Floyd facing?

Not really that much outside of those two.

Honestly...I don't want Floyd to retire either...but I see where he's coming from.

Hatton & Cotto are still a bit...unproven even now. They have looked less than stellar lately...& I'm a huge Cotto fan...but he's treading on thin ice lately & honestly...Hatton has fallen off against some seriously mediocre fighters.
