Whitaker UD
Whitaker UD
DRAW
It would be a great fight.. The edge would have to go to Sweetpea just on his quality of opposition.. He beat guys easily who rarely were beat easily. He made a defense with Azumah Nelson look easy and Azumah was tough.
See i don't mean to be nasty but thats where alot of people go wrong you don't base it on the quality of opponents you base it on 1v1 match up and forget opponents unless there was someone who Whitaker fought who was similar to Mayweather which i don't think there was but i would give Whitaker slight edge.Originally Posted by LegendBoxing65
Even if you had someone similar to Mayweather who Pernell fought, you would not have the quality of a Mayweather. Unless Whitaker fought Sugar Ray Leonard or someone of that caliber. Against the guys who were above average Pernell beat them usually in an easy fashion. Usually 12 rounds.
Just thinking. . . if both fighters will fight defensively, we would see a lot of feints, head and body movement. If ever punches was thrown, I could see a lot misses and punches hitting nothing but air. Now that would be strange, funny and possibly boring hahhaha. Imagine Pernell doing his walk, answered by a shuffle from Mayweather. Bob, weave, punchmiss, bob, weave, jab punch (both misses), circling, bob, weave, punch (miss), duck. . . bell rings!
Draw yawn
I would have to go with contraversial draw....
The kinda forsee that for this upcoming bout as well....DLH vs FMJr - I'm afraid of a dec. outcome!
You are the Creator of all that is, all that was, and all there ever will be.....
Just a reminder to the guy that said Trinidad KO'D Sweet Pea, he didn't. Sweetpea took the fight after a long layoff and lost the decision to a prime Trinidad.
I changed my mind after watching both fighters again Mayweather wins close decision.
If we are talking prime. Niether fighter's performance at 147 or over should be considered. Both of these guys peacked at 135.Originally Posted by johnsebastianmiran
