HBO has played this one perfectly for Floyd, I can tell you that much. Now it's up to him to fulfill their plan by beating ODLH. They've obviously set up 24/7 to hype the fight but they've given the world a chance to take a look at Floyd in another light. They could have easily played the hero (ODLH) and villian (Mayweather) but with the second show they've made it interesting. They've started showing off Floyd's insecurities, his cockiness to cover it up. He's a multidimensional personality with several people pulling at him and I think people are seeing that it's not so easy being Floyd. They've showed that he's not just some primadonna but he's that good because he works harder than anyone else. Hell, to be honest, nobody really cares about Oscar's parts. People have been talking about Mayweather, Mayweather's family, Freddie Roach, and Shane Mosley. I mean come on, they filled about four minutes taking about ODLH's hands with his hands man? That's fucking boring, gimme a fucking break. I understand that what goes on in the ring is most important but Floyd really is selling this fight. You can tell from 24/7 that HBO wants the world to see Floyd as a true personality and a true star. Floyd based off of his last three PPVs was already the second biggest earner in the sport behind ODLH, with a win, he will be a PPV star. That's why I'm hoping that Floyd not only beats Oscar but embarrasses him on this big stage.
