CC southakron314, Pavlik should have the crowd behind him, being that the fights in Tennessee. People think Mirnada is some kind of monster puncher...because he spun Willie Gibbs around? So what so did Daniel Edouard, and Raymond Joval had him hurt and these guys arent heavy hitters.His best outing was against Eastman..and hes a little on the decline after being in some big fights. His hardest shot may be his headbutt..because if you ask me thats how he broke Abrahams jaw.

I'm Quoting " The Ring Magazine" Some observers believe that Pavlik is the hardest puncher in the middle weight divsion. Judging by the image of "the Ghost" distorting his foe's face with a right, Zertuche would probally agree with that assessment.



Another thing if Miranda swats as hard as everyone on his bandwagon says he does. Hows come he couldn't stop the fight or knock a guy out with a broken jaw.

Im a Pavlik fan because he is a class act and he is American. Not to mention he lives 25 minuets away from me in Youngstown.

It will be interesting who the crowd will be behind. I would imagine that the Taylor's fans will be rooting for Miranda and hope for a fight to be setup between them. But who knows. I cant wait to see!

Pantera....what is this do well agianst a blown up jr. middle weight crap. He kills them. Look at the Bronco fight. Former Champ, Crushed . Grady Brewer, same thing. I don't think a junior middle weight has hung around more than 3 and a half rounds with Pavlik. And trust me Pavlik is the hardest hitting guy in the class. Yes I said it Pavlik swats harder than that Columbian with a glass jaw.

Nahhh. If he hits so hard than why did all those flush shots on Pierre take 4 rounds until the ref stopped the fight? And even than Pierre looked ready to continue. On the other hand Duddy absolutely murdered the guy in 90 seconds. Makes you question the power of Pavlik...

Not to get in the middle of this...but Pierre looked ready to continue? Should have been stopped in the first, Pavlike was toying with him.

Pavlik has him hurt at the end of round 1, but couldnt stop him.
And yea, Pierre jumped up off the canvas right away and could have continued, but the ref was looking for a reason to stop the fight. No doubt Pavlik beat the shit out of Pierre, but he didnt have the skills or power to finish him as early as he should have (like Duddy did in 90 seconds)

That is so true. 4 or 5 years ago, Pavlik would have been running all over the place to knock his opponent out. Now he paces himself, hits with better accuracy and has outstanding KOs. (and KOs fighters who have never been KOd or even seen the canvas before.)

If Pavik has enough chin and heart to take some shot and keep throwing, we'll get to find out if Pavlik has power that translates against a real opponent. Green is a puncher and far from weak... not to mention Edison was moving backwards and had his feet crossed when Green hit him, Miranda was far from hurt, he took the 8 count got up and showed ABSOLUTELY NO effects and continued on like nothing had happened
