Oh my God I don't know if you've ever been to the Bay Area but the McArthur is one of the most heavily trafficked areas there is, you can basically go anywhere from it. Whether it's the North Bay to the East Bay, East Bay to SF or basically any other combination you have to go through that area. It's a fucking traffic nightmare, and now that it's collapsed, I can't even imagine. It's surreal really.

At 4 in the morning a tanker truck was on it and crashed, and it immediately caught fire. He was disoriented and left the scene for the hospital and the 8600 gallons of fuel spilled and burned. It burned the concrete (it looked like lava) and then melted the steel supports and the whole thing fell down. One of the major arteries DOWN. Everyone who was at that game tonight was either from Oakland or took BART to get there which makes that crowd so amazing.

They're forecasting up to 8 HOURS of traffic tomorrow as everyone detours and gets their first look at the thing. My dad had me burn him a ton of CD's because he's going to be in the thick of it, he goes under where it collapsed from 80 to 880 (Oakland) and now he's all detoured and everything it's crazy.
