The weight and Freddy roach.

I guess I don't see the huge difference that Roach is going to make. No disrespect to Roach, he's a very good trainer. But it's not like Oscar has spent his whole career being trained by stiffs. He's worked with Gil Clancy, Steward, Floyd Sr.... those guys all know what they're doing.

Oscar has had problems with conditioning and fighting all three minutes of all 12, that won't be a factor here.

Why would those things all of a sudden not be a factor here? Do we know for a fact that he's training harder or better for this fight than any of his previous fights?
I think Oscar is in great shape for this fight, but I don't see why his stamina will all of a sudden be better at age 34 than it was in his 20s.

I think roach's strong point is conditioning (just look at pacquiao)

Uh... look at James Toney.

Its plain to see that Toney and roach have a strange relationship..He prepares james to fight..

You think theres any trainer out there that can get toney in shape better? ..Or in fact atall..
James is james and i wouldnt have him anyway..But his conditioning is no fault of anybody's but james toney's

It was more a joke than anything. Someone said Roach's strength is his conditioning, and the image of Fattoney was the first thing to appear in my head. Agree that Toney's been around too long to be broken by a trainer. By the same token though, I don't credit Roach for Pacquiao's conditioning either--Pac is just an athletic freak--he looks like he's in phenomenal shape even when he's been out of the gym for months.

I Think roach is more to credit then most think for pac's shape etc..
I think roach knows just how to train a fighter and is just right for a guy like pac..
Pac seems to enjoy roach bieng his trainer..Theyr very friendly and pac's stil on top of his game..
Everyone wants to snap up pac but hes with roach so theres definately something about roach thats special!
