Hairdoo. in 2040 that is a long time from now. Now people know who Oscar is but another good fighter will come along from the Olympics who is good , and this will happen about 4 or 5 times by the time 2040 comes.. Safety first I mean they are throwing punches but not stepping in fully and going for knockouts in fear of getting hit. Hearns and Hagler were going for a knockout in that fight they fought. No doubt .These guys are not the warriors which the fab four were in the 80s. Anyone knows that, and the fact that in 2040 you will need some iconic fight to be remembered means that the fab 4 will be remembered more. They had better fights. Whenever you hear these fights now being talked of as potentially great they are always compared to Hagler,Hearns,Duran,Leonard. Those guys in the 80s were all very different and that helped the fights and styles also. Hagler was a southpaw middleweight who could switch, Hearns was the 6-2 Welt with the big right hand who could box with a jab, Leonard was the boxer who could punch and had great intuitive powers and instincts, Duran was the great lightweight who had good power and knockout instincts and aura... They were all different. The guys now are more similar in background as amatuer boxers. all boxers who had knockouts against lesser opponents, but the fights they fight are all decisions and they are usually pro fights of what they would have been at amatuer. I have not really enjoyed this era like the 80s.. Not by a long shot. I am waiting for an era were the guys come to fight like the 80s guys did. If you tell me this era is like the 80s, I totally disagree as most people do. This fight on Sat. is a good matchup. but the fact Oscar was stopped by Hopkins with a bodyshot says alot. Oscar can win this fight I think because Floyd is not really proven at the high level he can fight. He has sort of cakewalked through his opponents and now he faces a guy who could make it a fight. That is why people are interested. can floyd beat his first real good opponent. I think he can. Although he is small. Oscar has to do what the guys in the 80s did. Go for broke in round one and try and stop FLoyd in a warrior mentally. But he will not. He will box and box and try to counter left him.
