Hatton's only problem with the weight is that he moved up for the first time in nine years with little preparation, not that he is not capable of being a top 3 ww.
Mate Floyd mayweather is a counter puncher who has amazing footwork and hands which enables him to be hit not very often, Hattons style is one of getting under your chin and using his strength, he cant does this against guys like Clottey and Margorito cos theyse guys are boiling down from like 190 lbs, Hatton boils down from about 180 but that is alot of fat these guys are naturally 190lb guys Hatton hasnt got the power to hold these much bigger men off, so he is loosing his main attributes as a boxer when facing these bigger men, where as floyd can neutralize the size differerence with his style.
