Default WHO BELIEVES FLOYD WILL RETIRE AFTER THIS FIGHT

I don't think he will but you never know because he will be 38-0 if he wins a 5 weight world champ 6 genuine world titles i hope he does'nt but you never know but i would like him to fight at least one more time against Ricky Hatton then when he's beaten him retire.

Floyd will fight again. EVERY fighter says they're going to retire when they're on top around the age of 30, and they NEVER do. He'll fight again for sure.

The only chance he doesn't fight again is if he shatters one of his fragile hands on Oscar's basketball-sized cranium.

I don't think he will either (too much to give still) and the dollar will suck him back in
Be a real shame if he did too because boxing needs characters like him.

If he wins then there is a possibility that he will retire, like someone esle mentioned but like most boxers that retire young will comeback and they wont be as good as they were.
But if he looses then I definately can not see him retireing, his legacy will definately not be fullfilled.

if he wins he has no right to call himself "the best"
not untill he beat bhop mosley and winky when he does this then i will bow down to him and worship pbf
but we all know hes going down in the 10th

He could fight and beat Mosely but can't see him fighting Hopkins or Wright they are to heavy now

No fookin way. Too much $$$$$$$$$$ out there. Too many bracelets and necklaces to buy. Too large of an entourage to support. Too many nice cars to buy. of course, there is his not-so-small ego that must be satisfied.

I think Mayweather vs Mosely would be more competetive than De La Hoya vs Mayweather but can't see Winky coming down to 154lbs

I can't really see it.. Not with the angle that the 24/7 series has taken in trying to make a character out of him... This fight is supposed to be a shot in the arm to boxing, if it really draws some new fans to the sport, it would be a real shame to see him just pack up and leave after he wins.. Maybe his saying he'll retire is just further hype for the fight etc.. I could see him insisting he will retire when he wins, and then having a very brief hiatius before announcing he will fight again.. If he wins this fight in a convincing and entertaining fashion, he will have reached an entirely new level of stardom which he has never experienced anything like, for all his abilities... I can't see Mayweather as the type of guy to just abandon this, he's never been in an event like this before, and he obviously want's to be a star who is in the public eye.. It's probably much easier for him to talk about retiring than it would be to do so, should he shine in front of so many millions tomorrow night.

i think he would for the money because we know how dlh gets payed and if mayweather beats dlh big money will also be involved there so i think winky would go down in weight to make himself some money

win or lose this fight, his ego wouldn't let him retire either way. There's still good fighters in manageable weight classes that he hasn't beaten yet. All it takes is for somebody to say to him "Yeah you're good but if you were the best you would've fought this guy too" and he'd go after them.

...too many other Mayweathers to bail out of jail. LOL

In all seriousness though, I DO believe Mayweather will retire after this fight.

And come back in a year and a half when he gets bored. He's like B-Hop, loves to train, always in shape, and he'll get bored without boxing.

He'll retire and unretire so many times it'll hurt his legacy. But I do believe he'll retire now. For now at least, he has an azz load of money, and he's truly deluded himself into believing he's the GOAT and has nothing to prove.

Mayweather has made the kind of money that if invested properly, you can live like he lives off the dividends.

Unfortunately, I highly doubt he's done that, being as he a habit of surrounding himself with bad people, even those that aren't related to him.
