In a word...HELL NO!!! Haha. Mayweather does have great hand speed but he's never thrown the amazingly fast flurries that Meldrick did in his prime. De La Hoya doesn't have Chavez's relentless agression. Based on past fights, if Mayweather shows a little strength I think tonight could end up resembling Quartey vs De La Hoya. Quartey was 5'7 with a 71" reach with a great jab and great defense. Mayweather is 5'8 with a 72" reach with a great jab and defense but he's much better than Quartey. That fight was awesome.
