This is what I have been thinking all along. It would work also. I think maybe Oscar will do this, the problem is Floyd might counter and speed can destroy a guy. Look how Hearns knocked out Duran. Not that I think in any way Mayweather can demolish Oscar like Tommy did Roberto.

you know what. Sometimes a guy who is good needs a fighter like Delahoya status to prove it. I still think there are tougher guys at 154 who could have taken on Floyd. Oscar has the name.. But his skills are questionable now.. If he beats Floyd I would have to say it was the size.. On paper Floyd is going to have a fun fight. Picking his shots by round 5 or 6 and stopping him in round 9 or so. But I will say UD Floyd just to be sure.

PBF - Use your lightning speed to dart in and out of range constantly for first quarter, deliberately sacrificing these three rounds, but throwing a token jab every few seconds to avoid DQ, and also to conserve bone strength. During this time, concentrate on making DLH MISS - not simply dodging his punches, but actually provoke him into increasing his workrate at the expense of accuracy, so as to slow him down later. Use any and all opportunities to counter, which should increase in frequency as the fight progresses and as he wears down. Jabslip at all times.

DLH - Walk him down, take his best shots and trade from the opening bell. Though he's fast, no human can walk backwards as fast as you can walk forwards. Impose your size/strength advantage as early as possible so as to land a bomb with "shock and awe", psychologically jolting him out of whatever gameplan he had.

    Your suggestions, gents??

Lets go to war baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for both fighters.

    I hope.

Let's see...Floyd couldn't "stop" a slow stiff like Baldomir...but he is going to stop an iron chinned, highly skilled champion?! Sure thing. Not saying Floyd cannot win the fight...but for those of you who think a brittle handed fighter like Floyd, who is fighting at this weight for the first time, is going to stop or knockout Oscar...dream on. The man pot shotted and kept distance from Carlos...yet all of a sudden he is going to out power and hurt Oscar. Floyd can only win this fight on points...if he is smart. If he tries to get cute...he will get his a** handed to him. Hope it's an exciting fight.

Oscar is iron chinned? No way. Look just because a guy doesn't knock out one guy doesnt mean he cannot knock out Oscar. Different style of fighting. Baldomir is more of an aggresive fighter as it is. Oscar is a boxer sharp shooter counterpuncher . With a guy like that if Floyd is domination he will dominate big time and be hitting him from all different angles. I would not be surprised if he stops Oscar about rounds 9 or 10, I am saying UD because of Floyd's hands.

Fight to a draw so you can make another 25 mil and 6 mil, respectively in a rematch!

All three Mayweathers (can't comment on Jeff) need a PR person to help them figure out that an ounce of humility is worth a pound of dignity. After a while, their inane chatter wears thin. Each of the 3 has been blessed with great opportunities in life. It's high time they stooped acting like they have been dealt a harsh card. Maybe they need to visit a cancer ward or a Veteran's hospital. But please, once and for all, STFU!

ODH should punch him in the balls as hard as he can right at the start, maybe it would slow him down, thats his one chance

    well i would say....

PBF- just go out there do what you normally do your faster and more skilled than him defensively and offensively, lead with your right, don't get pulled in to going toe to toe that would not utilise your skills. when you have the chance on the counter hit him with 3 or 4 shots you've got enough speed to do that. don't ever think the fights won and keep up the intensity all the way through the fight.

ODLH- double up on your jabs try to intice him to come in close then hit as hard as you can particularly with your left hook. bully him and try to boss him around we know he's got good ring genralship tonight we want to put that to the test. he can't hurt you as much as you can hurt him remember that. try to keep up your workrate if the fight goes into later rounds we don't want the judge's to think your slacking.
