Gotta agree, De La Hoya was hard done ast night. Mayweather was more accurate when he attacked but his work rate was almost non existant in many rounds. I had the fight 116-115 Oscar, but that was by generously giving the very even first round to Mayweather and scoring rounds 8 & 9 even when I was on the verge of giving them to De La Hoya. Despite the close fight, the scorecards showing Mayweather up by four rounds seemed very fishy.
Goes alongside the fights with Whitaker, Quartey, Trinidad and Mosley (x2) as yet another debating point in the Golden Boy's career. In my estimation those fights went:
Whitaker win 115-114
De La Hoya win 116-113
De La Hoya beating 117-112
Mosley win 116-112
De La Hoya win 116-115
Then this one! Any thoughts?
