Default Base your fight opinions on FACTS, not bias.

Too many of us (myself included) fall into the trap of judging a fight's outcome based on our personal biases (oops, did I accidentally mention Sal? my bad).

In this case, I wanted Floyd to win..... predicted (sadly) that Oscar would win..... and can honestly say that I agree with the decision. And not because I wanted Oscar to lose, but because I honestly think he lost the fight.

But honestly, some of us get so blinded by hatred (oops, did I accidentally mention.......) that we throw objectiveness out the window and make all sorts of outlandish claims and comments. Hey, be a man and own up to the facts. Your man lost, your man lost...... end of story. And sometimes it's not that your man lost. It's that someone you hate, for some reason (oops, did I accidentally mention.......), won. And then you go just as ballistic.

    Cheers. cc in 24.
It's always hard to put biases out the window when judging a fight.
Because of the passion so many of us feel towards "our guys".
It's almost like trying to judge a beauty pageant that your child is in. Your baby is gonna be the most beautiful to you no matter what!
So it's always refreshing to see someone own up and say they were wrong.

Thnx meowza. Not too many fans admit to being like that, but the fact of the matter is most of us have been that way at one time or another. And usually it's when there's the most raw emotion out there. In this particular case, I think I'm not being biased when I say that I agree with the decision. I wanted Oscar to lose, but I also objectively think he lost, as well.

CC #221 bro! I too wanted ODLH to win...Killersheep is taking a large sum of my virtual money to prove it.. I will give props where they belong...PBF is the best out there...period...end of discussion...I thought 154 would be too much for him...I was wrong...the fact that he stunned ODLH near the end sealed the deal.....If this was an old school 15rd fight there is no doubt PBF stops ODLH...that hurt to say....
It feels good to be back home.

1st of all whether ur an ODH or floyd hater u shouldn’t even be judging a fight, ur right when u have a favorite u tend to pretend ur seeing things or imagining ur fighter won. so for those ppl who are haters please replay the fight and seriously think about the boxing sport, if ur an aggressor then oscar won if ur a floyd fan then yup pretty boy was dominate and truly beat a champ with his boring style.

Good post TitoFan. I'm guilty of that which you speak. For instance if a round is close and could be scored even I automatically give it to my fighter. No second thoughts, just a 10 for the guy I want to win.
