After last night i have more doubts about rickys chances but if it was in manchester nd at 140 hed have a better chance nd i agree ICB on the cuts but if floyd fights him at ne weight nd ne place thinking hes gonna stop him easy he will be in for a rude awakening cos i dont care wot ne1 says he can fight wid the best of them nd i still could c ricky causing floyd some trouble.

Now Hatton is 27, and Mayweather 30, both in their prime, and both with excellent stamina and resilience.

Mayweather won yesterday does not mean he can smash anyone apart he was lucky one judge gave it to De La Hoya, Mayweathers own dad gave it to dela hoya.

Mayweather can not throw flurries, one punch at a time.

Mayweather back into a corner when a charging train comes at him.

Can Hatton take it out of him comfort zone, and do what De La Hoya did in early rounds throughout the 12 rounds, yes i am confident, but lets reserve our opinion for the ring magazine fighter of the year, 2 years ago, when he fights castillo

But Hatton Mayweather would be a real fight between two prime athletes better than what we saw last night that i guarrantee
Hatton has the perfect style for Mayweather to exploit because Hatton is nowhere near ODLH defensively. Hatton wouldn't be the bigger man at 147 and Hatton is giving up almost seven reaches in reach to Floyd. Mosley is the fight that needs to happen because Hatton would get KOed.

Yes of course he stands a chance...

Just because he would be an underdog against one of the best all time p4p doesnt mean he isnt world class...

He is a top fighter...He can box..He got great stamina..Fights hard for 12 rounds..

The thing about hatton is he doesnt really fight like most fighters..He doesnt usually make his way in with the jab or anything..

He uses the jab to keep busy until he finds a punch to slip and get on the inside where he steps laterally and throws shots to the body and head..Rough em up a little..Up cuts on the inside.. Good stuff..

I think if hatton was really active enough he could beat mayweather by decision...

I mean..For instance..De la hoya barely touched floyd while he swamped him..but he took enough rounds didnt he?
Well all it takes is to go in there and steal those rounds..Doesnt matter if you hurt floyd or not..Sell out if you have to go in and steal the fight from under his nose..He wont be impressed and will say..He didnt hurt me and barely touch me so didnt desrve to win..But thats not what matters..

Of course that all depends on how floyd would deal with him on the other hand.. If floyd really went for a total boxing lesson then he'd probably show hatton up for the best part of the night..

I dont think hatton would hurt floyd..But i dont think floyd could hurt hatton either..

But anyone who just dismisses hatton is not bieng honest..Just letting the hater-aid take over..

    ANYONE?
i hope floyd does go to hattons backyard and whoop him, im tired of this fighters feeling like they are the greatest inside their little hometown. I don't think hatton can beat floyd, floyd would embarrasse him anywhere anytime.

i think he has a chance we saw ODHA trap him on the ropes and got some joy with it.If Hatton can do that and just stay tight on Mayweathers chest for longer periods he has a chance to slow mayweather down. But its a big ask for anyone to beat mayweather.
